Fix The Wrong Settings in Your PC

1. Turn Off The Function key:

It is possible that you have unknowingly turned-on the “function keys” and “filter keys”. It is because you might have pressed the right shift key for more than 8 seconds.

To turn-off the function key follow these steps-

Step 1: Go to the start button and navigate to settings.

Step 2: Click on “Ease of Access”

Step 3: Now click on “keyboard”.

Step 4: Here you will find 2 options: “filter key” and “functions key”. Turn them off with the help of the radio buttons.

2. Turn-On The Num-Lock

If only the number section of your keyboard is locked or not working and the rest of the keys are working fine. Then it is possible that you have pressed the num-lock button. It locks the num-lock section of your laptop or PC.

Step 5: You will see an option to “Uninstall”. Click on it.

Step 6: Repeat the step for all the drivers under the keyboard section.

Step 1: Press “Windows+R” simultaneously and type “devmgmt.msc”

Step 2: Now click on the keyboard option.

If your USB ports are blocked then Follow these steps to enabled or unblock a usb port-

Step 1: Search device manager in the start menu.

Step 2: Double-click on universal serial bus control.

Step 3: Right-click on any USB port option.

Step 4: Click on enable if disabled.

Step 5: Repeat this step for each option.

If The Keyboard is Frozen Along With The Computer:

It is possible that your keyboard seems locked because your entire computer is frozen.

Step 1: Press ctrl+alt+delete altogether.

Step 2: Now a new window should pop-up. Here you will see all the running tasks.

Step 3: If any task is consuming a lot of CPU usage and you know that task like chrome, some game etc. Then end the task now.
