The easiest way to check the MAC address of your PC is by using the control panel. You just need to follow these steps and you are done-
Step 1: Press the “Windows + I” buttons at once to open settings.
Step 2: Here click on “Network & Internet”.
Step 3: After this click on Network and sharing center.
Step 4: Now you are on a new page, here on the left side click on “Change adapter settings”.
Step 5: In this step double-click on the connection through which you are running the internet i.e. Bluetooth network connection, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi.
After double-clicking, a small pop-up will appear where you need to click on “Details”.
After you click “Details” one more small window will appear as shown in the image below–
The physical address you see is the Mac Address of Your Windows 10, Windows 7, or any other computer you are working on.

2. Get Your Windows 10/Windows 7 Mac Address Using Command Prompt
The Command Prompt is one of the most useful tools in any Windows computer. You just need to know the right commands and you can get your work done in no time.
In this method, we will discuss how to get your MAC address on Windows 10 & 7 PC using Command Prompt. The steps will be similar for Windows 11 PC too.
To check your mac address on Windows 7 and 10 with Command Prompt follow these steps-
Step 1: Press the “Windows + R” button at once and a small window will appear.
Step 2: Now type “cmd” in the window and hit enter.
Step 3: After this, a new black screen window will appear which is called command prompt or cmd in short form. In this window type the following code and hit Enter button-
ipconfig/all
Step 4: After this, you will see that some lines will appear on the screen. In this screen, you will see a section called “Ethernet adapter Ethernet”, here you will find the line “Physical Address”. The string in front of this line is the mac address of your PC.
That’s it cmd looks like a difficult tool but getting the mac address is very easy with this tool.

3. The Simplest Method to Find Mac Address Of Windows 7 and Windows 10 PC
This is the simplest method to check the mac address of your device running on Windows 7 and Windows 10. This method will also work for Windows 11 computers.
Here are the steps that you need to follow in this method-
Step 1: Go to the search bar near the Windows start button and type “network status”. After this open the top result.
Step 2: Now a new window will appear as shown in the image below-
In this window, you need to click on “Properties” and another page will open.
Step 3: On this new page you need to scroll down and you will find your device’s Physical address (Mac address) as shown in the image below-

4. How To Get Mac Address Through System Information App
This is a very simple method in which you will get to use the System Information App. It is a very simple and useful app that comes built-in With Windows operating.
On my Windows 10 PC, I can easily access this and I have used it multiple times. The app has saved me a lot of time and hassle in different tasks.
So, without wasting any more time let’s discuss the steps to find mac address using Windows’ System Information App-
Step 1: Type “System Information” in the search bar near the Windows start menu and open the top result which is the application.
When you open it the following screen will appear-
Step 2: In this new screen click on “Component” and a new menu will appear under this. Here click on “Network”.
Step 3: Again a new menu will appear under “Network”, here you need to click on the “Adapter” option.
Step 4: Now you will notice that some information will display on the right side of the screen. Here scroll down and you will find the mac address of your device as shown in the image below-
